The OHBA Employee Benefits Package ensures that the business owner, employees, and their families are adequately protected while at work, home or on vacation. It is also an effective tool for business owners who want to provide a cost-effective and tax-deductible enhancement to an employee's compensation.

The package is negotiated annually and is administered by Mainway McArter Douglas on the Association's behalf. It is underwritten by Greenshield and The Cooperators. There are several plan design options depending on the number of employees and the specific requirements of your company. If the group plan does not meet your needs a market review will be initiated to find the best plan for you. The plan provides members a variety of options and excellent value in deductions, coverage and service. Some examples are:

  • Companies of all sizes including just one employee - are eligible for the plan.
  • An owners' and partners' package has been designed specifically to protect dividend income.
  • A variety of paramedical services are available with limits that exceed industry standards
